The Amnanda Process

Deep rest. Nervous system reset. A return to your own inner wisdom and intelligence.

Amnanda is a deeply restorative, body-led process rooted in a Tibetan Ayurvedic tradition, often described as “the path to joy.” It supports the nervous system to unwind stress patterns at a deep level … not by forcing change, but by helping the body to release what it has been holding.

Many people try to “cope better” by thinking harder, pushing through, or managing symptoms. Amnanda works differently. It is transformational in that it is effortless on your part, and it links into the body’s ancient wisdom and healing as you shed the stress and trauma within your body. This is a therapy that brings lasting change.

‘Amnanda is a project of complete harmony, awareness and peace’ – Baba Ramdas Swami

Why it works

Stress doesn’t live only in your mind. It’s carried in your physiology … in breath patterns, tension, gripping, fatigue, and the subtle ways the body stays braced.

Amnanda supports:

  • deep nervous system rest
  • the release of held tension and stress patterns
  • a renewed sense of presence, ease and clarity
  • improved sleep and emotional steadiness (over time)

NB: This is not medical treatment. It is a restorative wellbeing modality that can sit alongside other forms of support.

What a session feels like

People often describe the experience as:

  • deeply calming, even if the mind is busy
  • conducive to letting go of the fixations of everyday life
  • quietly blissful (without needing to “talk about it”)
  • cleansing, like an inside reset
  • freeing, as you’re not in a state of doing
  • like a revelation

You don’t have to worry about “doing it right,” because there is no wrong. The process is designed to meet you as you are.

Who it’s for

Amnanda may be a good fit if you are:

  • feeling burnt out, depleted or emotionally overloaded
  • living on high alert and struggling to rest
  • feeling disconnected from your body
  • sensing that stress has settled “into your system” over time
  • feeling stuck or at a crossroads in your life
  • looking for more vitality and a slower ageing process
